Is Starter really free forever?
Yes. You can have unlimited sessions, no trial that runs out, and no card on file. We only earn on paid sessions β a friendly platform fee of 8%. Upgrade to Pro and it drops to 0%.
Do free sessions ever cost me anything?
Never, on any plan. The 8% platform fee applies only on paid sessions through shinetree.
What are the payment processing fees on paid sessions?
Payments run through Stripe, and their fee is around 2.9% + 30Β’ per transaction. That's Stripe's fee, not ours β it's the same on every plan, and separate from the platform fee.
Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?
Yes β upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Going back to the Starter plan keeps your page, links, and booking system. You're just back on the 8% fee on paid sessions.
What happens if a client cancels or doesn't show up?
You set your own cancellation policy β full refund, partial, or none. If you refund a session, we don't charge anything, although Stripe keeps its processing fee.
